The Majesty of the Sleeping Lion:
Kicker Rock Adventure
Embark on a journey to the most iconic volcanic landmark in San Cristóbal. Encounter schools of hammerheads, graceful rays, and diverse marine life within a dramatic natural channel.

The Experience
Kicker Rock, known locally as León Dormido, is a breathtaking vertical tuff cone rising 140 meters from the ocean floor. This geological marvel was split into two halves by centuries of erosion, creating a narrow, natural channel that serves as a highway for incredible marine biodiversity. Snorkelers flock here to witness Hammerhead sharks, Galapagos sharks, and massive schools of Salema fish. Whether you are gliding through the deep blue walls or exploring the channel’s depths, the sheer scale of the rock makes this one of the most immersive nature encounters in the archipelago.
