The Experience

North Seymour Island is a vibrant wildlife sanctuary. Formed by the uplift of underwater lava, its flat terrain is the perfect stage for close-up encounters with Magnificent Frigatebirds with their striking inflated red pouches, land iguanas camouflaged among Opuntia cacti, and Blue-footed Boobies performing their peculiar courtship dance just a few feet from the trail.

Step-by-Step Itinerary

08:00 AM — Pickup and Land Transfer

The adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel in Puerto Ayora (Santa Cruz). We will take a 40-minute drive to the Itabaca Channel.

08:45 AM — Navigation

We will board our yacht for a navigation of approximately 45 minutes. Enjoy the turquoise waters and spectacular volcanic landscapes along the way.

09:30 AM — Hiking and Living Nature (90% of the Tour)

We will conduct a moderate-difficulty hike (approx. 1.5 hours). Walk alongside sea lions, golden land iguanas, and observe the nesting and courtship of boobies and frigates very close to the trail.

01:00 PM — Lunch, Beach, and Snorkeling (10% of the Tour)

After a delicious lunch on board, we will sail to Bachas Beach or Mosquera Islet. You can snorkel surrounded by sea turtles, marine iguanas, and colorful fish, or relax on the white sand before returning.
